Michael Bay. Michael and explosions. These two words seem no where close to each other and yet they are commonly found together. Michael bay is a director who likes to see things go boom. "Boom," is his satisfaction and whether the audience likes it or not is no concern to him becuase at the end of the day the audience is still going to watch the newest Transformer movie. It might even be obvious that most of the movies he directs require explosions in order to get the entire action packed ambiance people paid for. I personally never even realized how many explosions are in his movies until it was pointed out to me. But if you noticed all the explosions in his movies with no help then kudos to you, here is some congratulatory pictures.

Now that you've looked through those pictures I'm sure you can understand why there is so much criticism about Bay and his explosions. Although it might just be the movies that he gets to direct. For example if someone were to direct a comedy movie in the city that goes through the ordinary life of a family where could you possibly include explosions without having a plot twist. Michael Bay has directed movies that are full of action and in order to fulfill that actionness explosions must be included.
